Dress code is classic and neutral: men in suits, women in tea-length dresses, and children in button-downs and khakis.

Parking

There are plenty of street parking options available near both the courthouse and the dinner restaurant. Recommended parking for the Old Knox County Courthouse is at the Dwight Kessel Metropolitan Parking Garage at 900 State St, Knoxville, TN 37902. Recommended parking for Chismoso is a paid lot at 125 W Summit Hill Dr, Knoxville, TN 37902.

Island Highlights 

Isla = EES-lah (“island”) Mujeres = moo-HEH-res (“women”) Though just 5 miles long and less than half a mile wide, Isla Mujeres holds deep cultural and spiritual significance. The island gets its name—“Island of Women”—from the ancient Mayans, who worshipped Ixchel, the goddess of the moon, fertility, love, and medicine.

Bakery

This local, female-owned bakery has been our favorite for years, and while everything they make is amazing, their strawberry cake is our forever favorite. If you’re local to the area, you have to try them - they've won countless awards and have been named one of the best bakeries in Tennessee.

We will be staying at the Privilege Aluxes Hotel, a 5 star, adult only resort on the island. We have reserved a room block and the details for reservations are below.
